(DN) - Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for teacher training and health majors, universities in Dong Nai began to announce the floor score for admission in 2025.

Accordingly, Lac Hong University (Tran Bien Ward) is the first school to announce the minimum admission score for 4 admission methods. Specifically, the minimum admission score for the 2025 high school graduation exam score method for most majors is 15 points or more (3-subject combination), and 19 points or more for Pharmacy. For the admission method using the competency assessment test score, organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the minimum admission score is 600 points or more.

Regarding admission based on high school transcript scores, Lac Hong University has 2 forms of consideration: the average score of grade 12 is from 6.0 points or higher (combination of 3 subjects), or all 3 years of high school (grades 10-11-12) is 18 points or higher (combination of 3 subjects). In addition, Lac Hong University also considers admission based on V-SAT test results of 18 points or higher.

According to the announcement of the admission floor score of Dong Nai University of Technology (Trang Dai Ward), the school has 3 admission methods, in which the admission floor score for the 2025 high school graduation exam is 15 points or more (combination of 3 subjects), by high school transcript is 18 points or more (combination of 3 subjects) and the admission method by the capacity assessment test score organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University is from 500 points or more. For Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology, the admission floor score is 19 points or more.

Meanwhile, the Forestry University Branch in Dong Nai (Trang Bom Commune) has 3 main admission methods, in which the admission method using high school transcripts is 18 points or more (combination of 3 subjects), admission method using high school graduation exam scores is 15 points or more (combination of 3 subjects). For the admission method using the capacity assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the minimum admission score is 600 points or more.

As for the Eastern University of Technology (Dau Giay commune), out of 19 majors, 17 majors have an average admission score based on the high school graduation exam results of 15 points or more (combination of 3 subjects), there are 2 majors with higher admission scores, which are Economic Law with 18 points or more and Pharmacy with 19 points or more. For the method of considering high school transcripts, it is 15 points or more (combination of 3 subjects), and for the method of considering by the capacity assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, it is 530 points or more, for Pharmacy with 630 points or more.

One of the universities that candidates in Dong Nai are most interested in during the 2025 admission season is Dong Nai University. A representative of the school's Board of Directors said that for the minimum score for admission to teacher training programs (pedagogy), Dong Nai University's minimum score will follow the input quality assurance threshold of the Ministry of Education and Training. Accordingly, the minimum score for admission to university-level teacher training is 19 points or higher, while the minimum score for admission to college-level teacher training is 16.5 points or higher.

A representative of Dong Nai University added that for university-level training programs other than pedagogy, the school is researching a plan to consider admission scores based on high school graduation exam scores, high school transcripts, and competency assessment test scores. Once the school completes the plan, it will immediately announce it to candidates.

It is forecasted that the benchmark scores of universities in Dong Nai in 2025 will not have many fluctuations compared to previous years. The benchmark scores of the schools may be equal to the minimum admission scores, except for teacher training majors of Dong Nai University, which will have higher benchmark scores, especially English and Mathematics pedagogy majors.
