At the families, the leaders of Thuc Phan ward expressed their respect and deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. They hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, be shining examples for the next generation to learn from and follow, actively participate in building great solidarity in the residential area, and join hands and hearts to build Thuc Phan ward to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
Ensuring policies and regimes for people with meritorious services, the ward received 84 gifts from the province to give to people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs, mobilized social resources to give 25 gifts to families of people with meritorious services; well prepared conditions to organize candle lighting ceremonies to honor heroes and martyrs.
On July 25, the Provincial Journalists Association visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and people infected with toxic chemicals who are relatives of members of the Provincial Journalists Association.
The delegation presented 11 gifts and directly visited and encouraged the families of: War invalid Hoang Duc Van, residential group A, Hoa An commune; sick soldier Le Chi Thanh, group 2 Song Hien; war invalid Nguyen Xuan Bach, group 3 De Tham, Thuc Phan ward; families of war invalids, sick soldiers, children of martyrs, and those infected with toxic chemicals in Tan Giang ward, communes: Trung Khanh, Ha Quang, Nguyen Binh.
At the families, the leaders of the Journalists Association encouraged war invalids and martyrs' relatives to continue promoting revolutionary traditions and be shining examples for the younger generation to learn from and follow.
