Veterans were excited and moved to watch the A80 Ceremony live.

Early morning of September 2, Hanoi capital was brilliant with flags and flowers, splendidly decorated for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Tens of thousands of delegates and forces participating in the parade, marching from all over the streets gathered at Ba Dinh Square to prepare to attend the important event. Among them were veterans who had fought heroically on the battlefields, sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, now emotionally present, witnessing the event.

An emotional night when the forces worked all night to ensure security and order, "staying awake so that the people can sleep well, standing guard so that the people can have fun", while many people were also awake, some people "hung mosquito nets" overnight in the area around the square and the streets where the parade passed, with an excited and proud spirit to witness the beautiful moments of the ceremony.

With a high sense of responsibility, Hanoi City Police have comprehensively deployed security and order plans to serve people and tourists attending the event; provided medical support and transportation so that veterans could fully attend the great festival of the country.

Veterans are given easy-to-see areas.

"Because we are all 70 years old or older, many of us are in poor health and cannot participate. If we do not participate today, there will be no more opportunities. I must say that it is a great honor to be part of the previous generation who contributed to the country, receiving the attention and care of the Party and State through policies for people with revolutionary contributions. And today, each member has a seat and can watch live like this. I am truly moved," he shared.
