On the morning of September 2, a serious landslide occurred on National Highway 14C through Bu Gia Phuc 2 village, Phu Nghia commune, Dong Nai province due to prolonged heavy rain. Mud from the slope (the slope from the road surface to the top) flooded the road, covering a layer of 30 - 50 cm thick over a length of dozens of meters, making it impossible for vehicles to move.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Road Traffic Police and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 13 (Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department) mobilized 1 command vehicle, 1 tanker truck and nearly 10 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with the authorities and local forces to deploy the solution.

Due to prolonged heavy rain, rocks and soil from the hillside in front of Loc Thai Secondary School suddenly slid down, creating a thick layer of mud, making the road surface dangerously slippery. Many people passing through the area fell and were injured.

Traffic police and functional forces quickly arrived at the scene to ensure the safety of people and vehicles in bad weather conditions.

Upon receiving the news, the task force quickly arrived at the scene to place warning signs, direct traffic; coordinate with the authorities to clear rocks and soil, clear the flow, and wash the road surface to eliminate the risk of slipping. By 11:40 p.m. the same day, the entire area had been cleared, and traffic was safe and smooth again.
