Singer Jun Pham participates in the tree planting program "Haha Family - For a happy Vietnam" in Ban Lien commune

On the morning of August 8, in Ban Lien commune (Lao Cai province), the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) coordinated with the People's Committee of Ban Lien commune to organize the launching ceremony of the tree planting program "Haha Family - For a happy Vietnam".

This is a social charity initiative implemented nationwide by the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication in coordination with Yeah1 Group Joint Stock Company and partners, aiming to raise awareness of environmental protection, landscape restoration and sustainable livelihood development for the community.

Mr. Vu Minh Ly, Deputy Director of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, planted trees with people of Ban Lien.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee implemented many practical activities such as: mobilizing at least 20,000 trees to cover bare land and hills, contributing to the restoration of forest ecosystems, creating a foundation for sustainable tourism development; signing cooperation and agreement to build the Project "Developing tourism, culture and economy of Ban Lien commune in the period of 2025 - 2030, vision 2040" between the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication, Ban Lien Commune People's Committee and Hanoi Architecture & Technology Transfer Company.

Awarding certificates of merit to groups and individuals who are active in promoting local images and tourism .

The Organizing Committee awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances; presented 1,000 national flags and 1,000 photos of Uncle Ho to representatives of 11 villages in the commune.

Also on this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ban Lien commune awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals who actively promoted the image and local tourism.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the program will contribute to environmental protection, economic and cultural development, nurturing the young generation and strengthening community solidarity, aiming to build Ban Lien into a model of harmony between people and nature.
