Supplementing regulations on training facilities and fostering of fishing vessel crew members

In particular, the Decree supplements Article 54a on training and fostering facilities for fishing vessel crew members.

Training facilities for fishing vessel crew members are allowed to collect training and fostering fees according to regulations.

Conditions of training facilities for fishing vessel crew members

The Decree clearly stipulates the conditions for training and fostering facilities for fishing vessel crew members:

Is a training and development facility established in accordance with the provisions of law.

Have facilities, equipment and teaching staff meeting the requirements specified in Appendix XII issued with this Decree.

Have training and development programs and curricula according to regulations; establish and maintain a quality management system according to ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.

Rights and obligations of fishing vessel crew training and development facilities

Training and development fees are collected according to regulations.

Send written notice according to Form No. 04A.TC issued with this Decree to the State management agency of fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at least 30 days before participating in training and fostering activities for fishing vessel crew members.

Ensure facilities, equipment and teaching staff meet regulatory requirements.

Conduct training and fostering of fishing vessel crew members according to the framework program issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
