Appointing Dr. Le Van Lam as Vice Principal of Can Tho University

(NLDO)- Dr. Le Van Lam, Head of International Cooperation Department, was appointed Vice Rector of Can Tho University for a period of 5 years.

On July 8, Can Tho University announced the decision to appoint Dr. Le Van Lam - senior lecturer and Head of the Department of International Cooperation - to the position of Vice Rector of the school.

The appointment resolution was signed by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Council of Can Tho University, effective from July 5.

According to Professor Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Dr. Le Van Lam will be assigned tasks related to international cooperation, project management, and training work with foreign elements.

Can Tho University leaders expect Dr. Le Van Lam to try to promote the tradition of consensus in leading the group and make efforts to perform well in professional work.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Le Van Lam pledged to make efforts to carry out and advise well on the work assigned by the school's leaders, thereby contributing to promoting the advantages of a multidisciplinary, multi-field school for cooperation and development; applying laws, policies and mechanisms on science - technology, education - training, and sustainable development of the Mekong Delta region. At the same time, seeking the support of ministries, branches, and international organizations to contribute to the development of Can Tho University.
