In the past time, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the coordination, cooperation and support of departments, branches, agencies, units and the efforts of officers and soldiers of the unit, the Provincial Border Guard force has achieved many outstanding achievements, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area. Especially the achievement in fighting against the QT324 project on March 30, 2024, arresting 11 Laotian subjects, a 16-seat car and evidence of 100 kg of synthetic drugs in the form of crystal meth.

To recognize and commend that achievement,the President recently signed a decision to award the Second Class Military Exploit Order to the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command and two individuals of the provincial Border Guard.

Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements and feats of arms of the provincial Border Guard in recent times.

At the same time, it is required that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard need to promote tradition, proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on appropriate and appropriate policies and measures to ensure the maintenance of territorial sovereignty and border security in all situations.
