At Battalion 207, Regiment 893 ( An Giang Provincial Military Command), the atmosphere of emulation for excellent training took place vigorously. Promoting the heroic tradition, the battalion completed 100% of the training plan for new soldiers, ensuring absolute quality and safety; organized periodic training for the squads according to the prescribed content, program, number of troops, and time. At Company 6, Battalion 519, Regiment 893 (stationed on the border of Giang Thanh commune), the former alum lands are now covered with gardens of dragon fruit, sweet pineapple, papaya, mango, jackfruit, vegetables... All thanks to the hard-working hands of the soldiers, the barracks are increasingly spacious, green, ensuring the lives of the soldiers.

On the Pirate Islands (Tien Hai Commune, An Giang Province), the 7th Mixed Company, 519th Battalion (893rd Regiment) has not only done well in training and defending the island, but also maintained many cultural and spiritual activities such as sports, group games, and teammates' birthdays. The company also used the production increase fund to give gifts to the needy, support students to go to school, and warm the hearts of the people on the remote islands.
