In the second half, Tran Quyet Chien still completely controlled the game. Tran Quyet Chien ended the match with a large score difference of 40-13, after 15 turns.

In the final match of Group D, Tran Quyet Chien will face Muammer Rahmet (Türkiye). This will be the decisive match for the number 1 player of Vietnam to advance.

Previously, Tran Thanh Luc also won 40-31 in the opening match of Group E, when facing Dimitrios Seleventas (Greece, the young player in the same group with Frederic Caudron in the fourth qualifying round).

Meanwhile, Chiem Hong Thai is the first Vietnamese player to stop at the round of 32 of the Ankara 2025 Billiards World Cup, losing both matches. In Group C, the 1999-born player lost 39-40 to Yilmaz Ozcan (Türkiye, who won the 1997 World Cup), then lost 24-40 to Kim Haeng-jik (South Korea).
