Currently, Mr. Nghia’s family has 10 members of 4 generations living together. The oldest person in the family is Mr. Ngo Dinh Bau, Mr. Nghia’s father, who is 95 years old this year. Mr. Nghia and his wife are both 70 years old, living with their 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. Although living together with many people, according to villagers, his family is always warm, happy and especially close-knit.

Mr. Bau, the father and grandfather, is the “big tree” in the extended family. At this rare age, he is still clear-headed, kind and a solid spiritual support for his children and grandchildren. All big and small matters in the family are carefully discussed by the members, consulting with the elders to both maintain etiquette and listen to advice.
