Thunderstorms begin in the North

(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, around June 21-23, a new round of thunderstorms will occur in the North. This round of rain will cause moderate to heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain in the North.

The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that from the morning of June 21 to the night of June 22, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 50-120mm, locally over 250mm. There is a risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3 hours).

In addition, on the day and night of June 21, the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, and some places experiencing over 80mm.

During the day and night of June 21, the Southern Central Highlands and the Southern region will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, locally over 80mm.

The Northern Central Highlands region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 60mm. Rain is concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

From June 23, heavy rain in the mountainous and midland areas of the North will gradually decrease. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Cloudy, early morning and night with rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; during the day there will be showers and thunderstorms. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Northwest

Cloudy, moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain (heavy rain concentrated in the morning and at night). Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

Cloudy, with moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; in the plains there will be rain, showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (rain concentrated in the morning and at night). Southeast to South wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees Celsius, in the Delta 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa - Hue

Cloudy, sunny during the day, hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, Thanh Hoa in particular has showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan
