Many traffic routes in the mountainous communes of Dong Le and Thuong Trach were eroded. In addition, at the overflow culverts, water rose from 0.5-1.5m in communes such as Tuyen Binh, Tuyen Hoa, Thuong Trach, Dan Hoa, Kim Phu, Kim Dien, Truong Son... causing many villages to be cut off and isolated.

The whole province has more than 2,100 hectares of rice flooded and broken, concentrated in the communes of Hoa Trach, Vinh Thuy, Tuyen Hoa and Nam Ba Don, Bac Trach, Hoan Lao... In addition, Tuyen Binh commune has 7 hectares of aquaculture area washed away, many areas of flowers and industrial trees are also severely affected.

As of August 25, nearly 1,640 households with more than 5,100 people in vulnerable areas have been evacuated to safety.
