The Command of Coast Guard Region 4 has just discovered and arrested 3 cases of illegal transportation of about 115,000 liters of Diesel oil (DO) in the Southwest sea.

At around 10:00 a.m. on August 25, while on patrol and control duty in the Southwest sea, the functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered and inspected the fishing vessel TG 91139 TS, which showed suspicious signs and was transporting about 50,000 liters of DO oil without documents proving the legal origin of the goods.

Previously, on August 24, during patrolling, inspecting and controlling the Southwestern sea, the functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered and inspected the fishing vessel KG 90095 TS transporting about 35,000 liters of DO oil without documents proving the legal origin of the goods.

On the same day, August 24, the working group of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered and inspected the fishing vessel BTh 97222 TS transporting about 30,000 liters of DO oil, without documents proving the legal origin of the goods.

The functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command have drawn up a record to temporarily detain the three fishing boats, sealed the goods and escorted them to the unit's ports in An Giang and Ca Mau for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
