The award ceremony took place at the headquarters of SGGP Newspaper (432-434 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ban Co Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), with the participation of leaders and representatives of nearly 60 wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the award ceremony, the Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper presented the Provincial Administrative Map and the Commune Administrative Map of Ho Chi Minh City, sending them to wards and communes to hang at their headquarters.
SGGP Newspaper also plans to continue to organize map giving to all communes, wards, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City.
Printing and giving away maps is an initiative of SGGP Newspaper, aiming to help readers access and visualize in more detail the merger of provinces and cities across the country as well as the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City. specifically, SGGP Newspaper cooperated with the Center for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (Department of Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information of Vietnam) to print the Provincial Administrative Map and the Commune-level Administrative Map of Ho Chi Minh City as gifts to readers.

At the award ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of SGGP Newspaper Nguyen Khac Van shared that as an agency of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the voice of the Party Committee, Government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, SGGP Newspaper always wishes to contribute to creating stability, joining hands with localities and cities to best serve the people, ensuring the interests of the people as well as strengthening connections and exchanges with 168 wards and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City.

Expressing his thanks to the leaders and representatives of wards and communes who came to SGGP Newspaper, journalist Nguyen Khac Van hoped that the gift would be meaningful to the localities, especially in the early days when Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country were implementing the arrangement of administrative units.
On the other hand, 34 provinces and cities across the country operate a new apparatus with the spirit of "reorganizing the country", journalist Nguyen Khac Van believes that giving the map adds more meaning to this important period.

Journalist Nguyen Khac Van also hopes that the wards will continue to support SGGP Newspaper in information and propaganda; coordinate participation in social charity activities and important events in the area, contributing to making all aspects of social life in Ho Chi Minh City more vibrant.

Previously, as soon as the National Assembly passed the resolution on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025, SGGP Newspaper printed 50,200 copies of the Provincial Administrative Map to give to readers. And on the day the new administrative units officially began operating (July 1), SGGP Newspaper continued to coordinate to print and send to readers copies of the Commune-level Administrative Map of Ho Chi Minh City.

The ceremony to present the Maps of Vietnam's Provincial Administrative Units and the Maps of Ho Chi Minh City's Commune Administrative Units to 168 wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City on July 7 was the beginning of a series of map donation activities to 34 provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones nationwide.
