Vietnam Law Newspaper won 2 Lam Dong Journalism Awards

(PLVN) - The representative office of Vietnam Law Newspaper (PLVN) in Gia Lai - Central Highlands was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province for its outstanding achievements in journalism activities. PLVN Newspaper was also honored to receive the B prize and the Encouragement prize of the 21st Lam Dong Press Award in 2025.

On the afternoon of June 19, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province organized a meeting with press agencies, reporters and editors working in the province, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the contribution of the press to the development of the province.

Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee emphasized that over the past 100 years, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has affirmed its position as a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front, a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, and a trusted forum for all classes of people.

The press not only plays an important role in propaganda and public opinion orientation, but is also a channel for social monitoring, detecting, reflecting and proposing many practical and timely issues. Particularly in Lam Dong, the press has closely accompanied the socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a strong political system.

Lam Dong press team constantly trains, improves professional qualifications, and cultivates professional ethics.

“Lam Dong press in particular and the central press agencies stationed in the locality have made many important contributions in communicating political events, reflecting the breath of life, contributing to improving the effectiveness of administration and management of authorities at all levels,” the Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee emphasized.

At the meeting, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee commended and awarded outstanding works at the 21st Lam Dong Press Awards - 2025. The series of articles "Aspiration for Central Highlands Coffee" by a group of reporters from the Representative Office of Vietnam Law Newspaper in Gia Lai (Central Highlands) was honored with the B Prize in the print newspaper category and the series of articles "Lam Dong is determined to respond to landslides" by author Mai Long was also honored with the Encouragement Prize in the electronic newspaper category.

Mr. Bui Thang - Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee awarded prizes in the electronic newspaper category.

At the same time, the Vietnam Law Newspaper Office in Gia Lai was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in journalism activities in Lam Dong province, actively contributing to the propaganda and development of the locality. This is a worthy recognition for the spirit of responsibility and dedication of the Vietnam Law Newspaper reporters in the Central Highlands region.
