Practice the Incense Offering Ritual. |
In Buddhism, offering incense (Sang) is to create positive energy, offering it to the enlightened beings and all sentient beings. This helps the practitioner accumulate immeasurable merit and virtue, dispelling negative karma, obstacles and adverse conditions on the path to liberation and enlightenment. Offering incense, even though it may be small in quantity, when practiced with a positive attitude and right intention, with Bodhicitta, will bring immeasurable benefits.
Another ritual that cannot be missed is the offering of Butter Lamps, which is an offering of light to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions in the three periods of time: past, present and future. At the same time, it is also accumulating merit, purifying negative karma, staying away from harmful thoughts, staying away from wrong views, and having no evil views.
