Hoa Binh Newspaper organizes the 31st Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup Traditional Cross Country Race

The 31st Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup Traditional Cross-Country Race in 2023 is a practical activity to celebrate the country's major holidays; continue to effectively implement the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the Party's guidelines and policies on developing physical education and sports in the current period for the goals of "A strong people, a prosperous country", "Physical education and sports for people's health and happiness".

Through the tournament, the aim is to select outstanding athletes to train and compete in regional and national sports tournaments.

The meeting approved the draft Joint Resolution between 4 units: Hoa Binh Newspaper, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Youth Union on launching the training movement and organizing the 31st Hoa Binh Newspaper Cup Traditional Cross-Country Race in 2023; Tournament regulations.

According to the plan, the tournament will be held on November 11 at Hoa Binh Square. Competitions will be held for individuals, teams and groups in the following categories: championship (men 7 km, women 5 km); youth category (men 5 km, women 3 km); student category (men 6 km, women 4 km).

At the meeting, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to complete the Joint Resolution between the four units. In particular, focusing on a number of related contents: expanding the scope of participants; documents, procedures, creating favorable conditions for units to register to participate; coordination work to organize the district-level tournament...
