Proud of the development of Dong Nai Newspaper
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the development journey of Vietnamese press in general and Dong Nai press in particular from the early difficult days. In particular, Dong Nai Newspaper, since its first issue in January 1976, has made remarkable progress in both content and form. From being published weekly, Dong Nai Newspaper has now become a daily newspaper. Not only promoting the development of printed newspapers, but also focusing on electronic newspapers in the direction of multimedia and multi-platform journalism.

Journalist Nguyen Thien Nhut, who held the position of Editor-in-Chief for the longest time at Dong Nai Newspaper (1987-2006), expressed his emotion when meeting with generations of journalists of Dong Nai Newspaper on this special occasion. He welcomed and expressed his joy that the next generations of journalists have made great efforts, have good abilities, and have achieved many outstanding achievements, helping Dong Nai Newspaper develop day by day.

Journalist Tran Huy Thanh, former Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper from 2006 to 2018, recalled his early days at Dong Nai Newspaper. At that time, reporters worked both as journalists and as production workers, together overcoming many difficulties and ups and downs. Although he has been retired for nearly 7 years, journalist Tran Huy Thanh has always followed the development of Dong Nai Newspaper. Former Editor-in-Chief Tran Huy Thanh expressed his joy because the current journalism team of Dong Nai Newspaper has matured a lot, still maintaining the Dong Nai Newspaper brand.
“I myself have always been very proud because the Dong Nai Newspaper brand is respected and admired by many colleagues across the country. Not only demonstrating professional capacity, Dong Nai Newspaper also actively participates in meaningful and exciting social activities” - journalist Tran Huy Thanh confided.

Having worked for 11 years at Dong Nai Newspaper, journalist Bui Quang Huy (former Deputy Head of the Editorial Office, former Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies) confided that he has many memories associated with Dong Nai Newspaper. Until now, he is still proud that Dong Nai Newspaper, although a local newspaper, is famous nationwide. Although there were very difficult and arduous periods, especially the period of opening up and market economy , the staff and reporters of Dong Nai Newspaper have made many efforts and overcome difficulties.

Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the resident reporters in Dong Nai, journalist Thien Vuong, Nhan Dan Newspaper highly appreciated the capacity, working skills and achievements of Dong Nai Newspaper reporters. Dong Nai Newspaper has had great innovation, spread strongly and met the increasing information needs of readers. Among them, there are articles that left a deep impression on readers.
Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper Dao Van Tuan said that in the coming time, implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus, Dong Nai Newspaper will be built to become a multimedia press agency to develop commensurate with a locality with more than 4 million people and great economic potential.
Hope journalists always persevere, have a steady hand with the pen and a steady hand with the camera.

In order for Dong Nai Newspaper to develop further, journalist Nguyen Thien Nhut confided that becoming a revolutionary journalist is a great source of pride for every journalist. However, journalists must not be complacent, must always study continuously, improve their professional skills and expertise to meet the requirements of the job.
"I hope that the current generation of journalists will always be steadfast, steady in their writing and shooting to be worthy of the title of revolutionary journalists" - journalist Thien Nhut advised.
Journalist Tran Huy Thanh hopes that in the near future, when the press agencies of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc are merged, Dong Nai Newspaper will still maintain its brand. At the same time, he hopes that journalists will maintain their spirit, further improve their professional quality, and enhance their professionalism in their approach to problems, perspectives, viewpoints, and topic selection. In particular, reporters need to pay attention to the psychology of readers and the public to improve the effectiveness of press communication.
Although he has left the "roof" of Dong Nai Newspaper for 25 years, journalist Mai Song Be (former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper from 1996 to 2001) still has a "strong affection" for the place he once worked for. He still regularly writes articles for Dong Nai Newspaper and hopes that Dong Nai Newspaper will develop further.

Acknowledging the contributions and confidences of all delegates, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper Dao Van Tuan respectfully thanked the contributions of generations of veteran journalists, colleagues from press agencies, and collaborators. At the same time, he hoped to continue receiving the support and collaboration of reporters and journalists in the coming time so that Dong Nai Newspaper can continue to spread and develop even more strongly.
On this occasion, on the morning of June 14, Dong Nai Newspaper organized a sports event for Journalists in Dong Nai with the participation of many reporters and journalists from central and local press agencies.
