According to the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, 100 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh used the press to ignite the revolution. Today, the press must continue its mission of building social trust, fanning the desire for prosperity. In an era of change, when information becomes a sharp weapon, revolutionary journalism must be brave enough to lead ideology, orient public opinion, and maintain its foundation. That is not only a professional requirement, but also a command of the times.

“Vietnam is entering an important transitional period of a “new era” that requires strategic vision, political courage and broad consensus throughout society. To realize the aspiration of becoming a developed country, we need to urgently and effectively implement the four Resolutions of the Politburo on scientific and technological breakthroughs and digital transformation; on innovation in law-making and enforcement; on private economic development and international integration in the new situation.

All four pillars are directly related to the future of Vietnam in the new era. In this process, the press is not only a voice of reflection or propaganda, but also a catalyst, a guiding pen, becoming a creative subject, a constructive force to promote the implementation of the "four pillars" effectively and firmly" - Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized.

At the same time, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his hope that the revolutionary press team will continuously practice and study the ideology, ethics and style of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder of Vietnam's revolutionary press. In particular, they must imbue and understand more deeply the role, position, function and tasks of the revolutionary press. They must see that the Vietnamese revolutionary press founded by President Ho Chi Minh is an important part of the Party's ideological and cultural work, with a noble mission to join the entire Party and people in successfully carrying out the cause of striving for prosperity, strength, "rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization".

In this development process as well as in the face of fierce competition from social networks and multi-platform media, revolutionary journalism must strongly innovate both content and form of expression. Each journalist needs to constantly study, improve professional qualifications, political will and professional ethics. It is necessary to build a team of journalists who are "lean but elite", have solid expertise, are rich in courage, maintain ethics, uphold the spirit of humanity, protect justice and reason.

According to the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the press needs to continue to proactively and creatively implement information and propaganda work on important political, economic, social, defense and security tasks of the country. Propaganda content must both ensure comprehensive requirements and have a focus and key points. Journalists need to be alert and cautious in handling information, especially being politically sensitive, blocking and filtering bad and toxic information that causes interference and negatively affects people's awareness and public opinion.
