(QNgTV) - On the morning of August 29, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation organized the acceptance and handover of "Union Shelter" to workers in difficult circumstances in An Loc Nam village, Van Tuong commune.

The new, spacious house was handed over by the Provincial Federation of Labor to Ms. Ngo Thi Sen, a member of the Hoang Mai Joint Stock Company's Trade Union in Dung Quat Economic Zone. The house cost a total of VND250 million to build, of which the Provincial Federation of Labor supported VND50 million.

The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated Ms. Sen's family on having a new, spacious house and settling down. At the same time, they affirmed that the "Union Shelter" program is a humane and practical activity, demonstrating the concern of the trade union organization for union members and workers. Moved when receiving the new house, Ms. Ngo Thi Sen thanked the timely support of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the grassroots trade union. After more than 17 years of working, with limited income and no house, her family now has a stable home thanks to the support and help of relatives.

In 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor plans to support 05 "Union Shelters" for workers in Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, the Provincial Federation of Labor handed over 3 houses, previously, in July, 2 houses were handed over.
