Bac Thi Khiem won a silver medal in Taekwondo in Canada.

In the final match of the 67kg category at the 2024 Canada Open, boxer Bac Thi Khiem could not overcome Brazilian number one seed Milena Titoneli and lost 0-5, 3-7 after 2 rounds.

After this silver medal, Bac Thi Khiem will enter the Asian Olympic qualifying campaign.

At the Canada Open, there were two other Vietnamese boxers competing, Truong Thi Kim Tuyen in the 53kg category and Tran Thi Anh Tuyet in the 62kg category, both of whom stopped in the quarterfinals.

At the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou (China) in September 2023, Bac Thi Khiem won the bronze medal after defeating Philippine boxer Delo Laila in the third-place match.
