The Chut people (Huong Khe - Ha Tinh ) celebrate the Cham Cha Boi festival after the harvest to thank heaven and earth for favorable rain, wind, and a bountiful harvest and to welcome the new season.

On the morning of December 24, the People's Committee of Huong Khe district coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Women's Union and the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union to organize the Cham Cha Boi festival for the Chut ethnic group in Rao Tre village, Huong Lien commune.

The Chut people perform a forest edge worship ceremony according to traditional customs.

Cham Cha Boi Festival (also known as New Rice Festival) of the Chut ethnic group in Rao Tre village is held on the 12th day of the 11th lunar month every year after the harvest.
