During this internship and graduation internship, Pham Duy Nguyen and two other students from the 23OTB intermediate course of the Eastern College were accepted by VinFast Binh Phuoc located in the Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park (Dong Phu District). Duy Nguyen shared: “I interned here for 4 weeks, and was assigned to check batteries, remove wheels, inflate tires, change air filters, etc. for customers’ cars. Through practical experience, I found that there is a big difference between studying theory at school and practicing here, so I have to try harder to meet the job requirements.”

In addition to VinFast, many other companies and auto garages in the province such as Toyota, Hyundai, BYD accept students majoring in automotive technology from the Eastern College for internships and place orders immediately with potential students. Mr. Phan Thanh Hung, Director of Honda Auto Binh Phuoc, a unit that has cooperated with the school for more than 3 years in training, said: In general, all students here have a relatively good working style and acceptance. If you truly love the job, you can meet the needs of car companies in Binh Phuoc.
Eastern College is currently connected with about 100 businesses, in which the automobile sector, the school has built relationships with all companies and garages in the province. Formerly a mechanical engineering school, Eastern College has a lot of experience in teaching the field of automobile technology. Each year, an average of about 200 students majoring in automobile technology graduate, and this number is not enough to meet the real needs of the labor market.
Vice Principal of Eastern College Nguyen Huy Dao affirmed: During the training process, the school determines to connect 3 parties: Students are the center, businesses and schools accompany them. During the internship and graduation internship, students will have more adjustments to their career orientation so that they can immediately enter the labor market after graduation.
