Also visiting and presenting gifts to Dien Bien soldiers were Party Central Committee Secretary Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country; Comrade Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.

On the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province.
