[Photo] Nearly 104,000 candidates in Hanoi complete procedures to take the 10th grade entrance exam

On the morning of June 6, more than 104,000 candidates in Hanoi went to testing locations to complete procedures for the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools.

Mr. Le Hong Chung, Principal of Yen Hoa High School ( Hanoi ), Head of the Tran Phu-Hoan Kiem High School examination site, said that at the Tran Phu-Hoan Kiem High School examination site, there are a total of 20 examination rooms with 480 candidates and 40 invigilators. The examination site has reported to the Examination Steering Committee that it has a full backup plan and inspected the facilities according to instructions.

At the Tran Phu High School-Hoan Kiem exam site, a candidate had an accident before the exam. This candidate was allowed to have one person copy the test for him. The staff at the exam site arranged for the candidate a separate exam room with two invigilators according to regulations.

Hanoi has 201 exam sites for the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools. The exam takes place on June 7 and 8 (for students applying for non-specialized subjects) and June 9 for students applying for 4 specialized schools in Hanoi.

According to the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training, from July 4 to 7, the 10th grade exam scores will be announced on the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's information portal and the admission scores for public high schools will be announced. By July 8 at the latest, schools will receive the exam result notification to issue to students.
