Impressive traditional costumes and songs from the great forest

Today, December 14, at the Quang Tri Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center, the following activities took place: Mass art festival; performance of traditional ethnic costumes within the framework of the Cultural Festival of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups in Quang Tri Province in 2024.

From the epic Central Highlands and the sunny and windy Central region to the beloved Northwest of the Fatherland, mass cultural and artistic troupes from provinces and cities brought to the festival songs with the sound of mountains and forests and unique and eye-catching traditional costumes.

All the most precious assets from the villages resounded and shone in the sacred land of Quang Tri, leaving many emotions and unforgettable impressions in the hearts of the public. Through the preliminary evaluation of the Art Council, the troupes brought to the festival special art programs, elaborately staged, diligently rehearsed and performed with full emotion.

Dramatized on the background of traditional music, combining typical instruments of ethnic groups such as gongs, drums, panpipes, trumpets and daily living objects, combined with the enchanting flower-spreading dances of Thai and Mong girls from the highlands of Nghe An, the strength and toughness of the Cor ethnic boys from Quang Nam and Quang Ngai, or the soft, graceful hands of the Ede girls from Dak Lak... have created a musical atmosphere imbued with the essence of the mountains and forests.

Interspersed between the art programs are performances of traditional costumes of everyday life, festivals and weddings with characteristic motifs and vibrant colors that vividly express the unique culture and extremely rich and vibrant life of each local ethnic community.
