Agribank allocates 10,000 billion VND for young people to borrow to buy social housing

In the first 5 years from the date of disbursement, the lending interest rate is 2% lower than the average medium and long-term lending interest rate of 4 state-owned commercial banks including Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank) and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank); in the next 10 years, borrowers continue to enjoy an interest rate 1% lower.

This is a preferential credit program of Agribank implemented for loans disbursed from May 30, 2025 to December 31, 2030 (or until the capital source is exhausted). The preferential subjects are individual customers under 35 years old who need to borrow capital to buy social housing in legal projects, announced by the Ministry of Construction or the Provincial People's Committee. In addition to transparency in terms of conditions, the highlight of the program is the preferential interest rate policy designed to optimize the borrower's ability to pay in the long term.
