600 Karate students compete for 75 sets of medals

VHO - Competing at the first Quang Tri Province Open Karate Club Championship in 2025, there are 600 athletes from 20 delegations competing for 75 sets of medals in various events.

On July 4, at the Quang Tri Provincial Police Sports Stadium, the first Quang Tri Provincial Karate Clubs Open Championship 2025 took place, competing for the Hung Long Cup. This is the first sports tournament after the province's merger organized by the Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation.

Participating in the first Quang Tri Province Open Karate Club Championship were 20 delegations from clubs with more than 600 athletes. The athletes competed for 75 sets of medals in individual, team Kata and Kumite events.

Mr. Vu Son Ha, Head of Karate Department, Vietnam Sports Administration, awarded Certificates of Merit to the collective and 2 individuals of Quang Binh Karate Federation for their outstanding contributions to developing the Karate movement in the locality.

The first Quang Tri Province Karate Clubs Open Championship is a healthy sports playground, a place for athletes to exchange, learn and improve their professional skills.

Through the tournament, it contributes to strengthening the martial arts movement and promoting the spirit of physical training among the people, especially the young generation.

This is also an opportunity to discover many new factors, enhance many talents, and gradually develop the Karate movement in Quang Tri province.
