Doctor Tran Thi Tra Phuong, Nutrihome Nutrition Clinic System, said that in addition to sleep hygiene, sleeping on time, keeping the bedroom warm and quiet, avoiding stress, people should ensure the quality of nutrition to have a good night's sleep.

Ginger tea: Ginger is warming, detoxifying, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving. Warm ginger tea also prevents bloating and aids the digestive system, prevents colds, and improves respiratory health.

Ginger tea stimulates the nervous system, increases blood circulation and blood flow. Avoid drinking ginger tea in the evening close to bedtime because it stimulates rapid heartbeat, excitement, and can cause difficulty sleeping; should be drunk after meals.

Turmeric tea and milk : The curcumin compound in turmeric starch has anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties, so it is very good for your health. Drinking turmeric tea or milk in cold weather helps reduce joint pain, body aches and muscle inflammation, and helps you sleep better.

Dr. Tra Phuong noted that many people often drink a lot of tea and coffee in the cold season, which makes it more difficult to sleep. You should limit these drinks, especially from afternoon to evening. Supplementing with natural essences from blueberry and ginkgo biloba has the effect of increasing blood flow to the brain, improving nerve connections, and supporting better sleep.
