Candidates for the 2024 competency assessment test

On the morning of June 24, Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the completion of admission procedures using the 2024 capacity assessment test scores.

Information said that at the end of June 21, Ho Chi Minh City National University closed the registration portal for admission based on the results of the National High School Graduation Exam.

Accordingly, 43,498/104,843 candidates with high school graduation exam scores have registered for admission (an increase of 8.5% compared to last year). Of which, 32,898 candidates registered for units under the HCM City National University. The total number of registered wishes is 215,715 (an average of 5 wishes/candidate), an increase of 13.5% compared to 2023.

Candidates need to update the photo of the application form to the system to complete the application. Before July 5, VNU-HCM will announce the admission results by the method of direct admission.

This year, 109 universities and colleges used the results of the National High School Graduation Exam organized by VNU-HCM for admission. Of these, 68 units inside and outside the VNU-HCM system participated in the common admission system with 1,747 majors for candidates to register their wishes.
