During the 5-week period, the students were trained in the following contents: Overview of leadership and management at the department level; decentralization and delegation of power in state administration; management of civil servants and public employees under their management; building a 2-level local government in Vietnam; building and developing a public service culture; developing media relations; organizing inspections and audits of local sectors and fields; managing public finance and assets, issuing; organizing the implementation of state administrative decisions and personnel management. The topics provide new theoretical and practical knowledge, suitable for the learners; focusing on cultivating leadership and management skills; the ability to research, summarize practices and situation handling skills in direction and administration. In addition, the students were given practical training in Ha Quang district.
At the end of the class, 100% of students completed the course, including 4 students with excellent grades, accounting for 13%; 21 students with good grades, accounting for 66%; 7 students with average grades, accounting for 21%.
Through the training course, the trainees will have a clearer understanding of the position, responsibilities, tasks and requirements for officials and civil servants holding leadership and management positions at the department level and equivalent. At the same time, they will clearly identify the challenges facing the state administration, the country's development requirements in all fields and have strategic thinking, the ability to apply, organize and implement management activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency for the industry and field.
