On September 3, information from the People's Committee of Hoa Hop commune (Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh ) said that 2 accidents had just occurred in the commune, causing 2 deaths and 1 serious injury.
The accident happened at around 6:00 p.m. last night, September 2. Mr. D.TD (30 years old, residing in Lam Khai village, Hoa Hop commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 73C1-154.72 on Ho Chi Minh road through Hoa Hop commune when he collided with a motorbike with license plate 73P2-1913 driven by CXH (19 years old, residing in On village, Thuong Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district) who was going in the opposite direction.
The collision between two motorbikes left both drivers dead on the spot, and both motorbikes severely damaged.

Then, at 6:30 p.m. the same day, also in Hoa Hop commune, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hiep (age unknown, residing in Tan Thuan village, Hoa Hop commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 73C1-120.88 on Ho Chi Minh road through Tan Thuan village when it collided with a motorbike with license plate 73K5-6811 driven by Mr. Dinh Thanh Vy, traveling in the same direction.
The accident left Mr. Vy (age and hometown unknown) seriously injured and he was taken to Minh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the causes of the two accidents.
