2,077 units of blood received

Mid-Autumn Festival for Children is one of the major voluntary blood donation programs, taking place annually on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival organized by the Youth Association for Blood Donation 24/01 under the professional sponsorship of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

2024 is the 12th time the program has been held. In addition to the 3 main festival days, there are also many accompanying programs and events such as: Biggame Xanh Com, Net dep xanh Com, Night of the Full Moon Festival... with the desire to connect loving hearts to children in need of blood.

During nearly 2 months of preparation and organization, more than 2,500 people participated in the program, including nearly 500 volunteers along with many ambassadors and guests such as: Miss Ngoc Han, actress Bao Thanh, actress Bao Han, actress La Thanh Huyen, child actors: An Nhien, Gia Nghia, Camy Khanh An...

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony of the Mid-Autumn Festival Blood Donation Festival for Children 2024, Mr. Trinh Xuan Thuy, Chairman of the Hanoi Youth Blood Donation Association, said: “In 3 days of organization, the program has collected impressive numbers; the first day with 457 units, the second day with 531 units and especially the last day with 1,089 units of blood received.

Many artists participate in the blood donation program.

To achieve that result, it is the effort and solidarity of the entire program's Organizing Committee. I hope that after this series of activities, the volunteers will be more mature, enthusiastic and open in life."

During the program, Hanoi and the northern provinces and cities were affected and suffered heavy damage due to storms, floods and other sad events, but people still enthusiastically donated blood with the thought: "We donate blood because we want to help children have a peaceful Mid-Autumn Festival."
