12 golf clubs participate in the 2025 Central Highlands Golf Championship

TPO - The 2025 Central Highlands - Central Provinces Golf Championship attracted the participation of 12 golf clubs taking place over two days, July 19-20, at Diamond Bay Golf Course, Nha Trang.

The 2025 Central Highlands - Central Region Golf Championship is sponsored by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and hosted by Khanh Hoa Golf Association.

This year's tournament brings together 12 golf clubs from provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions, including: Khanh Hoa, Quang Binh , Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Thuan, Ha Tinh, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Lam Dong.

This is a playground for amateur golfers, competing in a team competition format. The groups are divided as follows: 4 groups A, B, C, D for men with handicap index from 0.0 to 20.0; and 2 groups A, B for women with handicap index from 0.0 to 23.9.

The competition format includes fourball and single match for the men's division, while the women's division is played in single match format. Each men's team has a maximum of 16 players and 4 substitutes; the women's team has 4 players and 2 substitutes.

The highlight of this year's tournament is the transparent organization, application of livescore technology, live television and public drawing, contributing to improving the professional quality and fan experience.

According to the Organizing Committee, not only is it a top-notch sports playground, the tournament also acts as a bridge to exchange and promote the unique cultural features of the region, especially local golf tourism, to domestic and international friends, besides being an opportunity for cooperation between golf associations, contributing to the formation of a united and professional golf community in the Central Highlands - Central region.
