Ms. Truong Kim Khuyen, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hiep Thanh Ward, said: “Over the years, Hiep Thanh Ward has always received the attention and support of agencies, units, benefactors, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to join hands to take care of both material and spiritual needs of policy families, poor and near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances in the area. This support adds motivation for families and children to rise up, stabilize their lives, and develop the economy .”
On this occasion, Hiep Thanh Ward Health Station also organized a communication campaign on drowning prevention for children in the area. The communication campaign provided children and their relatives with useful information about the causes that make children vulnerable to water, the painful consequences of drowning incidents, preventive measures, safety rules and how to handle victims. These are necessary skills for children to protect themselves and help their friends in an emergency.
Many students and parents listen to media about drowning prevention for children in the area.
This activity not only has the meaning of sharing love and helping those in difficult circumstances, but also spreads the message of the community's care and support for children, the future generation of the country.
