BHG - Returning to Pan Ho village, Quan Ba commune, Quan Ba district, the light of the Party has now shone brightly , which is reflected in the rural picture with many improvements . A feeling of prosperity and happiness on the faces of each person when there is no longer the "ghost" of evil cults haunting them.
Stepping Through the Dark
Walking on the wide, clean concrete road across the hillsides, we arrived at Nhiu Lung hamlet, Pan Ho village, Quan Ba commune. Along both sides of the road, people were actively plowing their fields to cultivate this year's Summer-Autumn rice crop. Coming to the house of Mr. Vang To Hung, one of the households that abandoned the "San su khe to" cult, we met Mr. Hung carefully taking care of the cucumber area that was in the flowering and fruiting stage. Mr. Hung smiled brightly when he met us and quickly introduced that this was the first year he had grown cucumbers in association with a cooperative in Quyet Tien commune, with a planting area of about 2,000 square meters. Mr. Vang To Hung's eyes shone with determination in changing the crop structure to eliminate poverty for his family. Because if he took good care, "had a good harvest, good price", Mr. Hung's family would earn about 100 million VND this season.

Mr. Vang To Hung, born in 1990, has a family of 7 members. In 2006, due to limited awareness, Mr. Hung listened to bad people and followed the evil religion "San su khe to". With his head bowed in sadness, Mr. Hung shared: "During the time I followed the evil religion San su khe to, I removed the altar and abandoned the nation's ancestor worship. My family and I blindly believed in the power of "God" and worshiping the cross would bring health, material things, and wealth to the family without having to work. It was my shallow thinking that unintentionally helped the evil religion."
“After many times of being visited by authorities, sectors and localities to grasp the thoughts and aspirations and disseminate the policies of the Party, the State and support mechanisms in ethnic minority areas, I realized that my poverty actually comes from limited awareness, blind trust, life does not come naturally, we have to work hard and produce to have a better life. Since then, my households and I have abandoned the evil religion of “San su khe to” to return to the belief of ancestor worship” - Mr. Vang To Hung expressed.
