Chinese company InMotion has unveiled a new electric unicycle called Adventure with a powerful engine for off-road adventures, New Atlas reported on September 4. The vehicle is designed to help riders easily climb 50% gradients with 200 Nm of torque and 850 N of traction at the wheels.

The Adventure can run at a speed of 110 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.5 seconds. There are two driving modes: Comfort mode is more stable and smooth, helping to increase battery life, and Sport mode is more powerful and responsive. Users can adjust the mode through the accompanying app.

The four battery packs mounted around the wheels can be removed from the frame in about 10 minutes without removing the controller. The battery capacity is 2,400 mAh with smart management that monitors each battery cell in real time. InMotion says the battery pack gives riders a range of 120 km on a single charge. Fast charging allows the battery to charge to 80% in an hour.

The Adventure electric bike uses 40.6 cm diameter wheels with thick tires 7.6 cm wide. The wheels are waterproof to IPX6 standards, the battery is waterproof to IPX7 standards. Therefore, the driver does not need to worry when running through puddles on the road or encountering sudden heavy rain.

The electric unicycle is equipped with InMotion's proprietary springs, which promise a comfortable ride, while also offering 8 levels of rebound and 17 levels of compression. This is to cope with rough terrain and protect the rider's knees. The modes can be adjusted to suit the rider's weight and riding style.

InMotion says the Adventure will retail for $3,299, but the company has not yet revealed when it will officially launch the bike.
