The first quarter-final match of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League season is set to be Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan. Both teams won both legs of the round of 16.
Bayern Munich beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the first leg to create a big advantage before entering the rematch this morning (March 12). Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies scored 2 more goals in the second leg to help coach Vincent Kompany's team win 5-0 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan did not give their opponents a chance to turn the situation around. Marcus Thuram's early goal helped the Serie A (Italy) representative consolidate their advantage over Feyenoord (Netherlands).
Inter Milan conceded a goal late in the first half. However, Hakan Calhanoglu scored from the penalty spot early in the second half to seal a 2-1 win (4-1 on aggregate).

The only team in this morning's match to qualify despite losing the first leg was Paris Saint-Germain. The French team made Liverpool lose their advantage with an early goal from Ousmane Dembele. The match became exciting after that with many chances created by both teams.
Liverpool dominated for most of the two halves. Meanwhile, PSG dominated when the match entered extra time. However, neither team scored any more goals and the match went into a penalty shootout. Here, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma became the hero for PSG with two excellent saves to help the French team qualify for the quarter-finals.
