TPO - The reigning National Women's Champion Le Chuc An and Anna Le became the first two representatives of Vietnamese golf to win a place at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand this coming December.

This result was established after the challenging final round of the 2025 Vietnam Women's Amateur Open Championship (VLAO) on the afternoon of June 13 at Dalat Palace Golf Club, where golfers had to compete under the cold and drizzly weather conditions typical of Dalat.

Although they did not win the championship, with stable performance over 3 rounds, Le Chuc An and Anna Le were the two Vietnamese golfers with the best scores in the tournament. Both finished in 3rd and 4th place with total scores of (+13) and (+15) respectively.

This achievement helps them become the two official representatives of Vietnamese women's golf at the largest sports arena in Southeast Asia at the end of the year.

Thai golfer Marisa Tojal won VLAO 2025.

In the championship race, Thai golfer Marisa Tojal excelled over her opponents to win the VLAO 2025 tournament with a total score (+2) after three rounds of 75-74-69 strokes.

In the final round, Marisa only had one bogey at hole number 5 but scored 4 birdies, showing stable performance and strong character.

Second place was another representative of Thailand - Namo Luangnitikul - with a total score (+8) after 3 rounds of 76-76-72 strokes. She also had a solid final round with an even par score.

Nguyen Trong Hoang leads the race for tickets to the SEA Games in the men's category.

At the same time, in round 3 of the 2025 Vietnam Open Men's Amateur Championship (VAO), the competition was extremely fierce.

Nguyen Trong Hoang continues to hold the leading position with a total score of -6 after three rounds. In second place is Ho Anh Huy with an even par score.

SEA Games 32 champion Le Khanh Hung and current National runner-up Nguyen Tuan Anh shared third place with a total score (+1).

Notably, in today's competition, only two male golfers scored negative points, including Le Khanh Hung (-2) and Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy (-1), a young talent only 13 years old who is creating many surprises at the tournament.

Tomorrow (June 14), male golfers will enter the final round to determine the owner of the VAO 2025 championship trophy and the next two tickets to attend the 33rd SEA Games at the end of the year.
