World Travel Awards honors 2 tourism management departments of Vietnam

At the event, the World Travel Awards honored Vietnam as "Asia's Leading Destination 2024", "Asia's Leading Heritage Destination 2024" and "Asia's Leading Nature Destination 2024".

Hanoi was honored as "Asia's Leading City Destination 2024" and "Asia's Leading City Destination for Short Breaks 2024". Ho Chi Minh City received 2 awards: "Asia's Leading Business Destination 2024" and "Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination 2024". In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism was honored as "Asia's Leading City-Level Tourism Management Agency 2024".

At this year's Asia and Oceania regional awards ceremony, the World Travel Awards honored many units and destinations in Quang Nam province.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam received the award for “Asia’s Leading Local Tourism Management Agency 2024”. A resort in Quang Nam, Hoiana Resort & Golf, won the category of “Asia’s Leading Integrated Resort 2024”.

A representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam said that being honored by WTA has affirmed the world brand and special attraction of Hoi An - Quang Nam to international tourists. In recent years, the tourism industry of Quang Nam, including the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, has made many efforts to position the tourism industry to develop in a green and sustainable direction and has received high appreciation from domestic and international agencies and organizations.

On this occasion, Ha Giang province was honored as "Asia's Leading Local Cultural Destination 2024"; Ha Nam province received the award "Asia's Leading Emerging Destination 2024"; Moc Chau (Son La) received the award "Asia's Leading Local Natural Destination 2024".
