Recently, Vu Manh Cuong had the opportunity to reunite with Cat Tuong as the MC of the program The Fire in Me. This is an art exchange program organized by the My Lai Peace Foundation in collaboration with the Forever 20 Fund and several other units. The MC of 60 Seconds was very happy to have the opportunity to reunite with Cat Tuong and Thanh Binh in this special event. Having shared the stage in many previous programs, the artists worked very well together. He revealed that they spent a lot of time studying the script, learning about the characters and practicing because this is a special program, requiring everything to be both intimate and solemn and bring a lot of emotions.
“I am lucky to have dedicated colleagues for the program, everyone is willing to spend time to bring the most successful program. The fire has been lit in each participant of the program. That is something we are proud of," Vu Manh Cuong confided.

The highlight of this special event was the exchange and listening to the stories of special women who have achieved many remarkable achievements in various fields such as Associate Professor, Dr. Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan, Truong Ngoc Thuy Trang, writer Tran Tra My... Notably, the moment when the male MC interacted with the family of martyr Dang Thuy Tram. When listening to the ambitions, especially the story of the female martyr cycling nearly 200km to say goodbye to her children, Vu Manh Cuong could not help but be moved.
The male MC shared: “I have read many stories and watched movies about martyr Dang Thuy Tram, but only now have I had the opportunity to meet and interact with the family of the female martyr. Listening to the story, I appreciate even more the sacrifice of this resilient girl. In Dang Thuy Tram, there is a love for family, love for her siblings and above all, a strong love for the country. Just like the saying of martyr Dang Thuy Tram's sister, I hope that everyone will have a fire in their heart, to warm themselves and do many useful things for the country."

In the inspirational stories, the program participants were deeply moved by the special dialogue between Vu Manh Cuong and disabled writer Tran Tra My. Realizing that the female writer had difficulty speaking, instead of talking, the MC Vu Manh Cuong volunteered to be Tra My’s interpreter. The powerful messages about the seeds of kindness, about the project “bringing books to prisons” because of the belief that kindness always exists in every person… touched the hearts of the audience and lit a fire of desire to join hands to do good things for society and for life.
