Visa and FPT Corporation cooperate to promote digital transformation in the public sector in Vietnam

Visa, the world’s leading digital payments technology company, and FPT , Vietnam’s leading technology corporation, have announced a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote digital transformation and financial inclusion in the government payments sector in Vietnam. The partnership aims to modernize public services and support businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), through the application of advanced payment technology and comprehensive digital solutions.

The partnership will focus on exploring opportunities to collaborate on initiatives to build a national procurement system, increase the participation of SMEs, and strengthen payment infrastructure. Visa and FPT will also explore innovative solutions to digitize urban services, including expanding financial access and providing corporate credit cards to SMEs to support cash flow management. In addition, the two parties will consider digital payment solutions for public services and improve the payment experience for citizens.
