VINFAST NATIONWIDE DEPLOYMENT OF GREEN CONVERSION INCENTIVE POLICY AND ELECTRIC MOTORBIKE BATTERY CONVERSION MODEL

August 21, 2025 - Responding to the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, VinFast announced to promote the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" for the 3rd time with two landmark decisions: expanding the special green conversion policy to 34/34 provinces and cities; simultaneously deploying 150,000 electric motorbike battery swapping stations and launching battery-swapped electric motorbike models nationwide.

The special Green Conversion Policy with many outstanding incentives in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang will be officially applied by VinFast to all localities nationwide from today. Accordingly, in addition to the 4% discount on the listed price under the 3rd "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" program, customers will be supported with 3% interest rate/year if they borrow to buy cars in installments for personal needs, and 4% interest rate/year if they borrow to buy cars for business on the Green SM Platform, the support period lasts for 3 years.

For electric motorbikes, customers will be given 10% of the vehicle price immediately. If buying a motorbike for personal needs, customers will be supported to be able to borrow up to 80% of the vehicle price and only need to pay 10% of the initial counterpart to be able to receive the motorbike for use. If buying a motorbike for business on the Green SM Platform, customers will be supported to borrow up to 90% of the vehicle price, can receive the motorbike immediately with 0 VND of counterpart capital, and at the same time, GSM commits to a fixed revenue sharing rate of 90% within 3 years. In addition, customers will be supported 100% of the registration fee when buying VinFast electric motorbikes from August 21, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

In addition to attractive incentives when purchasing a car, VinFast electric car and motorbike users will receive free battery charging, respectively until June 30, 2027 (cars) and May 31, 2027 (motorbikes) at all V-Green public charging stations.

Along with the expansion of the special Green Conversion Policy nationwide, to facilitate and provide maximum peace of mind for people when switching from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles, VinFast will deploy a dense battery swapping system of up to 150,000 stations in all localities; at the same time, launch battery swapping versions of current electric motorbike models.

Accordingly, in October 2025, VinFast will install the first 1,000 battery swapping stations, aiming to reach 50,000 battery swapping stations by the end of this year and complete the entire system within the next 3 years. With a planned network of battery swapping stations many times larger than the gas station system, VinFast not only brings absolute peace of mind to users about the battery, but also ensures outstanding speed and convenience for the process of charging the vehicle when participating in traffic.
 

The battery-swapped electric motorbikes are designed by VinFast and equipped with similar features to the vehicles sold with batteries, the only difference is that the battery compartment is designed with two compartments, supporting two batteries that can be easily removed and replaced at public battery swapping stations, with a capacity of 1.5 kWh/battery. Depending on the usage needs, customers can rent one or two batteries for use, with a monthly battery rental fee of VND 200,000/battery, a battery exchange fee of VND 9,000/time (including charging costs), traveling a maximum distance of 85 km/battery/charge (standard conditions), corresponding to extremely low energy costs compared to the cost of buying gasoline for the same distance.
 

It is expected that the first car model to be added with a battery-swapping version is Evo, called Evo Max, which will be officially launched in October 2025 at a price of VND20 million. After that, VinFast will launch three more battery-swapping car models this year, including Feliz Max (VND24.9 million), Verox Max (VND33.9 million), and Drift Max (VND39.9 million), to meet the diverse needs of a large number of customers.

In addition to the battery-swapping version, VinFast continues to maintain the battery-included version for customers who want to own a complete car and charge it at home. Customers can also buy a car with a rented battery and charge it at home, depending on their needs.

With 2 special policies, VinFast brings people a complete and synchronous green conversion solution, with an unprecedented accessible price and optimal use, ensuring "3 more": Faster - Cheaper - More convenient, surpassing the market.

In addition, VinFast is also actively coordinating with partners to continuously implement the event "Green Festival - Collect gasoline cars, upgrade to green cars" nationwide, with incentives of up to 100 million VND (applied to VF 9 cars) for customers switching from gasoline cars to electric cars.
