Quang Tri Provincial People's Procuracy organizes "Flower Lantern Night" to honor heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947 - 2025), tonight, July 8 (June 14, At Ty year), at the Ceremony House - Flower Wharf on the South Bank of Thach Han River, Quang Tri Ward, the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province solemnly organized the "Flower Lantern Night", an incense offering and flower offering ceremony to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed in the Quang Tri Liberation Campaign, protecting the Citadel in the fiery summer of 1972. This is one of the meaningful activities of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province, towards the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Procuracy on July 26 (1960 - 2025).

With the moral of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree”, in the sacred moment at the ceremony, the delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense, and released sparkling lanterns into the Thach Han River; respectfully bowed to express their remembrance and infinite gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh , who devoted his whole life to the independence, freedom of the nation and socialism. Remembering and deeply grateful to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland so that the country and homeland could be prosperous, free and happy.

Our country is preparing to enter a new era of development, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise. Along with the arrangement of administrative units, the People's Procuracy sector is also organized from 4 levels to 3 levels including: Supreme People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Procuracy and Regional People's Procuracy. The People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province (new) is organized with 9 department-level units and 8 regional People's Procuracies.

Living in peace and happiness today, every Vietnamese person is always proud and remembers the immortal feats and noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

In the sacred moment of the ceremony, the leaders, civil servants and employees of the People's Procuracy of Quang Tri province vowed to continue to strive and practice the five virtues of a prosecutor as taught by Uncle Ho: "Fairness, Uprightness, Objectivity, Prudence, Modesty"; to build a team of "Courageous, honest, professional" cadres and civil servants; worthy of the glorious tradition of the industry: "Strictly obey the law, resolutely attack crime, courageous in enforcing justice, wholeheartedly protect the people".
