In the 1,398th drawing of the Mega 6/45 lottery of the Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) last night (August 27), the drawing council found 1 lottery ticket that won the Jackpot prize worth more than 48 billion VND.
According to information from Vietlott, the lottery ticket that won the Jackpot prize worth more than 48 billion VND was sold in Ho Chi Minh City.
The lottery ticket that won the Jackpot prize in the 1,398th drawing of the Mega 6/45 product contained the lucky numbers: 03 - 11 - 18 - 39 - 40 - 42.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Finance , lucky customers who win the jackpot prize of more than 48 billion VND will have to pay 10% personal income tax to the local budget that issued the winning Mega 6/45 lottery ticket.
Thus, the customer who won the Jackpot prize must pay more than 4.8 billion VND in personal income tax to the Ho Chi Minh City budget. After fulfilling tax obligations, the owner of this Jackpot prize will receive a net amount of nearly 43.5 billion VND.
Notably, Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with many people winning Vietlott jackpots with large values.
Since the beginning of the year, Vietlott has continuously found players in Ho Chi Minh City winning the Jackpot prize worth tens and hundreds of billions of VND.
