Mobilizing support for the construction and repair of 5 Charity Shelters

(CT) - The Women's Union of Co Do district has just held a conference to review the work of the union and women's movement in the first 6 months of 2025. In the past 6 months, the Women's Union of Co Do district at all levels has paid attention to, created conditions for and actively supported members to develop a sustainable economy; at the same time, doing a good job of social security.

The Women's Union of Co Do district organized the donation of a Warm House to the family of Ms. DaAnh Thi Giau, a female union member with difficult housing circumstances.

Notably, the construction and improvement of 23 typical models of skillful mass mobilization; consulting and introducing 210 women to work in companies and enterprises; supporting 20 women to start their own businesses, achieving 100% of the target; introducing 625 women to access preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank to invest in production, small business, and develop family economy . The associations at all levels mobilized to present 716 gifts to women members in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 276 million VND; mobilized support to build and repair 5 Charity Houses for women members in difficult circumstances...

On this occasion, 12 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing association work and women's movements were awarded Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee of Co Do district.
