On May 16, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Le The Am, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Quynh Town (Van Lam District, Hung Yen ), confirmed that a traffic accident had occurred in the area, causing 1 death.
The victim was Mr. NMT (29 years old, residing in Binh Tru village, Duong Quang commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi ).

The accident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. on May 15 on National Highway 5, passing through Khoai village, Nhu Quynh town (Van Lam district). At that time, the container truck with license plate 34R - 010.xx was moving in the direction of Hung Yen - Hanoi and then stopped in front of a roadside restaurant.
At the same time, Mr. T. was driving a motorbike with license plate 29E1 - 42x.xx moving in the same direction from behind and collided with the rear of the container truck.
The strong collision caused the front of the motorbike to shatter, the iron bar blocking the rear of the container truck was bent, and Mr. T. died on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the news from the people, the police force of Nhu Quynh Town and Van Lam District Police were present to block off the scene and regulate traffic.
The accident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
