Under the yellow light, Major Tran Thi Thu Ha, Propaganda Officer of the Political Department, excitedly introduced each relic: The wreckage of the enemy's F-105 aircraft stained with the color of battle smoke; the 14.5mm anti-aircraft machine gun of the anti-aircraft machine gun squad of Battalion 62, visited by Uncle Ho on the occasion of Tet Binh Ngo 1966; the medal discolored by time; the photo of Uncle Ho visiting the unit... Each artifact is a piece of history connecting the heroic past with today.

Soldiers enlisted in 2025 of Regiment 236 study tradition.

“This is the register of 108 martyrs of the Regiment who sacrificed their lives to protect the Fatherland,” Ms. Ha introduced. The soldiers were moved and silent. Soldier Tran Quang Tu, Platoon 4, Company 10, General Staff, shared: “Today, I understand more about the history and tradition of the Regiment. I am very grateful to the previous generations. No matter how difficult or hard it is, we will always try to study, practice, and follow the brave example of the previous generations.”

The soldiers took turns visiting the exhibits arranged in chronological order: From the first day of establishment, the fiery opening battles that established the feat of “winning the first battle” to the period of “fighting more and more to win” when the Regiment’s rockets created nets of fire in the sky. Self-reliance, overcoming difficulties, solidarity and coordination, that message is portrayed through the story of the Regiment being honored to welcome Uncle Ho twice and the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces that the Party and State bestowed upon it.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Doan Van Son, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Regiment 236, although traditional education is a regular task, the unit does not repeat the same old routine. Every year, the Political Department reviews documents, selects familiar details, interweaves visits to artifacts with stories about real people and real events, and opens up discussions to "awaken" pride in each soldier. At the same time, the unit also guides ideology, helping soldiers nurture the will to overcome difficulties and strictly follow discipline.

The footsteps left the traditional room when the early morning sun shone on the dark blue of the uniforms. In the soldiers’ luggage now were memories of an “infinitely loyal” Regiment and the faith to continue on the journey ahead, contributing to preserving the peaceful sky of the Fatherland.
