Japanese Yen exchange rate at banks
At VietinBank , the buying and selling rates both decreased by 0.73 VND, down to 173.81 VND/JPY and 184.86 VND/JPY, respectively.
Eximbank also recorded a similar decrease, with the buying rate at 176.41 VND/JPY and the selling rate at 182.58 VND/JPY, a slight decrease compared to yesterday.
HSBC adjusted the rate lower, bringing the buying rate to 175.51 VND/JPY and the selling rate to 183.25 VND/JPY.
Sacombank and Techcombank are also not out of the general trend, simultaneously decreasing from 0.5 to nearly 0.8 VND per transaction direction.
Some banks such as NCB continued to slightly reduce exchange rates, while Vietcombank slightly increased both buying and selling rates. This is one of the few banks that adjusted against the market today.
Agribank also recorded a slight increase, bringing the buying rate to 175.93 VND/JPY and the selling rate to 183.96 VND/JPY.
BIDV is the bank with the highest buying rate among the surveyed units, at 176.89 VND/JPY, also an increase compared to the previous session.
Japanese Yen Exchange Rate on the Black Market
On the black market, the Japanese Yen exchange rate is also not immune to the downward trend. The buying price is currently trading around 179.17 VND/JPY, down 0.17 VND.
The selling price dropped more sharply, down to 180.2 VND/JPY, down 0.49 VND compared to yesterday.
